Nashville - photographs
2016, 20 pigment print photographs, different dimensions
The Photographs were taken during a residency at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville. They were a visual diary and documented the daily surroundings. There are no people in the photographs, at least no portraits, but the images hint at actions. They imply events and let the viewer finish the depicted using their own experiences.
The photographs are not displayed as a fixed installation. The viewers are asked instead to make a selection and build their own narratives each time (here a view of the open studio in Nashville).
